Foundation

The Yang Jianhou Foundation was established to preserve, promote, and share the artistic legacy of Yang Jianhou (1910–1993), a renowned Chinese painter and educator. The foundation is committed to maintaining a comprehensive archive of his artworks, teaching materials, and related documents, and making them accessible to art institutions, scholars, and the public.

The foundation also oversees the donation and exhibition of Yang Jianhou’s works, collaborates with museums and galleries, and supports research on Chinese painting and art education. By fostering appreciation for Yang Jianhou’s contributions to 20th-century Chinese art, the foundation aims to inspire new generations of artists and art enthusiasts.
